-Definition:
     -Requires 2 or more of the following:
          1) Temperature > 38^o or < 35^o
          2) HR > 90 bpm
          3) RR > 20 bpm or P_CO2 < 32 mmHg
          4) WBC's > 12,000 or < 4000 or > 10% Bands

-SIRS plus infection --> sepsis
